The position requires a candidate with proven development and deployment experience using the Mendix platform. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts and other development teams to understand business requirements and guide decision-making regarding the applicability of Mendix for legacy application modernization. The role also involves integrating with Shopfloor applications using OPC UA and/or MQTT protocols, as well as with enterprise-level applications such as SAP and Maximo. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards using multiple widgets, writing custom Java code for creating new widgets, and maintaining the quality and consistency of applications. Testing and troubleshooting applications, monitoring application quality and performance, and providing solutions to improve business value are also key responsibilities. Documentation of technical applications is required as part of the role.
