About The Position

We exist to serve those affected by incarceration by being Ambassadors of Life Change through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jubilee Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit Christian ministry. We consider every position to be essential in the fulfillment of our Mission Statement. Positive and Faith-filled work environment Work for a meaningful purpose Support Life Change through the Gospel of Jesus Christ Be part of a mission-driven team Prayer and Devotions with your Co-workers Small, tight-knit team Set schedules What You’ll Do Provide Christian discipleship, case management, and program oversight to Men’s Aftercare students Provide counsel to Men’s Aftercare students from the Bible about life change through the gospel Teach classes to Men’s Aftercare students from the Bible about life change through the gospel Meet regularly with Men’s Aftercare students to evaluate progress according to program criteria Hold Men’s Aftercare students accountable Lead Men’s Aftercare students in learning and implementing life skills as needed Provide transportation to Men’s Aftercare students as needed Adhere to Jubilee’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Employee Code of Conduct Exercise judgment and provide counsel that is consistent with Jubilee’s mission statement and core values, standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or law Who You Are Committed to being an ambassador of life change through the gospel of Jesus Christ Have a heart for service and alignment with our Christian values Convinced of the authoritative nature of the Bible Effective relational, organizational, and presentation skills Able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain required confidentiality Valid driver’s license Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook Experience in settings related to homelessness, incarceration, and addiction is a plus Education and/or experience in Christian ministry or case work is a plus

Requirements

Committed to being an ambassador of life change through the gospel of Jesus Christ
Have a heart for service and alignment with our Christian values
Convinced of the authoritative nature of the Bible
Effective relational, organizational, and presentation skills
Able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain required confidentiality
Valid driver’s license
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook

Nice To Haves

Experience in settings related to homelessness, incarceration, and addiction is a plus
Education and/or experience in Christian ministry or case work is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide Christian discipleship, case management, and program oversight to Men’s Aftercare students
Provide counsel to Men’s Aftercare students from the Bible about life change through the gospel
Teach classes to Men’s Aftercare students from the Bible about life change through the gospel
Meet regularly with Men’s Aftercare students to evaluate progress according to program criteria

Lead Men’s Aftercare students in learning and implementing life skills as needed
