Southwestern College is currently seeking applicants for a Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach. This position is on a 10-month contract that runs from August 1st to May 31st. Southwestern College, an NAIA institution and member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), is a private comprehensive college with an enrollment of about 1,700 students. With a main campus in Winfield, Kansas, it also offers degree completion programs online. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Duties for the position include assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program (practices, matches, recruiting, conditioning, overseeing academics, etc.). The primary focus will be planning and running goalkeeping sessions for both the Men's and Women's soccer athletes. The position is compensated with graduate studies, housing, coaching, and a meal stipend. Candidates must be able to work long hours, move and carry equipment above 50lbs, and be willing to learn and follow direction. This position is a shared position between the men's soccer program and the women's soccer program, working primarily with goalkeepers from both teams.
