About The Position

The Ridge Foothill is searching for its' next Memory Support Director to coordinate all clinical and programming aspects of our 40-unit Memory Support Program.  If you are an RN and are tired of your Director of Nursing grind, this could be the role for you.  You'll partner with our Team Operations Director on department staffing.  You won't be responsible for recruitment, on-boarding, scheduling or training of the care staff.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered nurse, preferably a BSN.  Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse experience is helpful, and you'll love the change to Memory Support.
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors and team members with excellent customer service skills, a high level of energy and compassion.
• Prefer two years' experience in senior living, long-term care or healthcare field.
• Strong time management skills and customer service skills
• Be proficient in use of a computer.
• Demonstrate good judgment, initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written in dealing with team members, residents, family members, co-workers and vendors. 
• Good listening and skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site coordination of all clinical, programming and staffing aspects of the Memory Support Program.
• Responsible for resident programming for our Memory Support residents.
• Oversees Med Tech training and supervision of our dedicated Memory Support Med Tech Team Members.
• Assist the residents and their families in maintaining the physical and emotional health of our residents.
• Liaison with physicians, pharmacies, families and health-related agencies for Memory Support residents.
