About The Position

Renown Health, is the largest not-for-profit Integrated Health System with the University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine, and seeking a Neurologist with focus on Memory Disorders. As the main teaching hospital, there is an opportunity to conduct clinical trials as well as teach Residents and Medical Students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, as part of the practice. The ideal candidate will see patients with memory disorders, dementia, and other cognitive problems. The position provides the opportunity to further expand the Memory Disorders Program to reach the needs of our growing patient base. Renown Regional houses The Institute of Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Neurology.
• Experience in treating memory disorders and dementia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in clinical research.
• Teaching experience with medical students or residents.

Responsibilities

• See patients with memory disorders.
• Participate in clinical research trials and translational research with the UNR Graduate School of Neuroscience's Integrative Neuroscience Institute.
• Direct access to Renown Neurology's PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist.
• Opportunity to participate in the Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program.
