About The Position

The Memory Care Wellness Coordinator is responsible for managing the healthcare operations within the community, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care tailored to their changing healthcare needs. This role involves supervising nursing staff, providing training, and ensuring compliance with medication management protocols, all while fostering a respectful and dignified environment for residents.

Requirements

• LVN or RN license required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience.

• Experience in memory care or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to meet residents' healthcare needs.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity while providing quality care.
• Oversee consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, stepping in as needed to fulfill caregiver roles.
• Assist in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers, providing ongoing training and education.
• Manage associates' schedules and oversee medication training and pharmacy management.
• Conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and medication audits according to Brookdale guidelines.
• Share on-call duties as required.
