  • Oversee the full implementation of resident and family engagement's overall dementia care program.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to associates who are caregivers within the community.
  • Ensure Care Associates deliver person-centered programming, dining, and care.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide dementia training and manage the preadmission/move-in/move-out process of residents.
  • Hire and educate associates regarding dementia care, including leading programs and interventions for behavioral expression.
  • Plan and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs that meet the specific needs of all residents within the dementia care community.
  • Bachelor's Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
  • Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
