The Memory Care Director (Director, Artis Way Experience) at Artis Senior Living is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring that the culture of the company is cultivated and supported throughout the community. This position is centered around the "Positive Partnerships" philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of creating meaningful connections and enhancing the quality of life for residents. The Memory Care Director will conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of residents' social, emotional, and general well-being, documenting these assessments appropriately to inform care plans. Collaboration with the Director of Health and Wellness is essential to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident. In this role, the Memory Care Director will actively promote The Artis Way philosophy across all departments, working closely with department leaders to ensure that the principles of the program are integrated into daily practices. Responsibilities include scheduling and facilitating Team Member Orientation for new hires, managing the Positive Partner recognition program, and overseeing the annual budget for Positive Partnership initiatives. The Director will also partner with the Director of Sales and Marketing to foster relationships with referral sources and participate in sales presentations and community outreach. The Memory Care Director will conduct admission procedures for new residents, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that residents' social and activities of daily living (ADL) needs are assessed. This role involves regular updates to resident assessments and collaboration with families and department leaders to facilitate smooth transitions into community life. The Director will also coordinate family care plan meetings, maintain effective communication with residents and families, and stay informed about current trends in memory impairment through networking and continuing education opportunities. Adherence to safety regulations and community policies is paramount, as is maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
