About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Aides to join our team and provide exceptional support to residents with memory impairments. Schedule is 7a-7p working 2 days a week and every other weekend. Excellent benefit package after 60 days including 2 weeks vacation, sick time, 403b company match up to 6% and other perks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent form the United States
• Direct Care Worker Certificate or active CNA certification in the state of PA
• Prior experience in a memory care or senior care setting preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of dementia and other cognitive impairments is a plus
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain a calm demeanor

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a safe and comforting environment
• Monitor and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and needs to ensure personalized care
• Support residents in engaging in therapeutic activities and social interactions
• Follow care plans and safety protocols to promote residents' well-being
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to deliver comprehensive care
• Must pass criminal background check and abuse and neglect checks
• Must be punctual and dependable
