Weekend Activity Assistant – Memory Care Unit

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be patient, compassionate, and attentive to residents’ needs

• Flexibility to work weekends and part-time hours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in activity coordination, caregiving, or related fields is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging recreational activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, fostering a warm and welcoming environment
• Assist residents with participation in activities, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the care team to understand individual needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized activity area
• Document resident participation and feedback to improve activity programs
