About The Position

The position is within the Memory Care department, reporting to the Director of Memory Care. It is an hourly, non-exempt role with a pay range of $17.00 to $19.00, depending on credentials and experience. The job offers full-time hours with rotating weekends. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Six months of experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment & Director of Memory Care in planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities for Memory Care residents.
• Ensure activity programs are presented appropriately by staff and promote open communication with the clinical team regarding residents' well-being.
• Facilitate and implement the LCS Extraordinary Impressions hospitality program, LCS Cares Program, and the Lifestyle & Healthy Services Program.
• Plan and coordinate a balanced program of activities that include spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental aspects.
• Track activity participation for all Memory Care residents.
• Lead daily resident activities according to community standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars and weekly program contents.
• Gather information, articles, and photos for the newsletter.
• Maintain an adequate supply of adult activity materials.
• Transport residents to appointments and recreational outings.
• Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy.
