Supportive Presence: Connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
Passion: Work with those experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related dementia, ensuring each person lives every day to their maximum cognitive and physical ability.
Teamwork: Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents, cooperating closely with the care team to support residents holistically.
Time Management: Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity preparation.
Creativity: Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
