We’re seeking a compassionate, energetic Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team part-time (20 hours per week). What You’ll Do As a Memory Care Activities Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Life Enrichment Director to create and lead engaging, person-centered programs that support residents’ cognitive, social, emotional, and physical well-being. You will: Assist in planning and leading daily activities for small and large groups in our Memory Care community. Build warm relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a positive, inclusive environment. Encourage resident participation and help adapt activities for individuals’ abilities and interests. Support with seasonal decorating, outings, and special events. Help maintain attendance records, activity calendars, and a tidy, organized activity space. Provide one-on-one engagement and companionship for residents who may prefer or need individualized attention. What We’re Looking For A kind, patient, and creative spirit who genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors. Experience in memory care or senior living preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliability, positive energy, and a willingness to jump in and have fun! Ability to assist residents safely and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
