Requirements
- Energetic, compassionate, and ready to brighten someone’s day
- Creative and comfortable leading group activities
- Organized and confident with planning monthly calendars and events
- Comfortable engaging with residents experiencing cognitive changes
- A great communicator and team player
- Able to drive community vehicles as needed
- Passionate about serving seniors with love and dignity
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Memory Care programming is a plus, but your heart, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to learn matter even more.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lifestyle Director in leading daily activities 7 days a week (don’t worry — you’ll have a set FT schedule!)
- Bring arts, music, games, movement, and smiles to residents in Memory Care
- Help prepare and share the monthly Lifestyle calendar
- Facilitate resident council meetings and other gatherings
- Connect with local groups, volunteers, and entertainers
- Assist with scheduling transportation and — when needed — drive the community vehicle (yes, you get to be the field trip hero!)
- Learn what residents love and help tailor activities to their interests
- Make daily moments meaningful, consistent, and full of heart
