About The Position

As a Memory Care Activities Assistant at American Senior Communities, you will make a difference in the lives of the residents by providing care and compassion. You will act as a positive teammate to fellow employees, helping to onboard new teammates. Your role will involve encouraging residents to participate in daily activities that enhance their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You will carry out activities tailored to residents' varied backgrounds, needs, and enjoyment. Additionally, you will recruit, organize, train, and recognize volunteers to expand and supplement the activity program, ensuring maximum participation from residents. Involving resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities will be key to increasing overall participation and contributing to residents' well-being.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CNA Certification.

• Provide care and compassion to residents.
