About The Position

UPPERKUTS BOXING CLUB is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Membership Services professional to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our valued members, you will play a crucial role in enhancing member experience by providing exceptional customer service and managing all aspects of membership administration. This position involves managing membership inquiries, processing applications, renewals, and cancellations, and maintaining accurate membership records. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness and boxing, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the club’s management and trainers, you will ensure that members feel welcomed, valued, and motivated to stay engaged with our programs. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining smooth operational procedures, supporting promotional campaigns, and resolving any member concerns promptly and effectively. Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or membership administration, preferably in a fitness or sports environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in using membership management software and basic office applications such as MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

  • A passion for fitness and understanding of boxing or combat sports is highly desirable.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards resolving member issues and improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective members via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Manage the membership enrollment, renewal, and cancellation processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain and update membership databases ensuring all records are current and confidential.
  • Assist in developing and implementing member engagement strategies to promote retention and satisfaction.
  • Support the coordination of promotional activities and special events related to membership growth.
  • Resolve member inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly to uphold high-quality service standards.
  • Collaborate with trainers and management to communicate membership benefits, schedules, and club updates effectively.
