About the position

At the Massage Envy Slingerlands franchise, we support and inspire you to be your best while we work together to help clients feel their best. As a Membership Sales & Wellness Advisor, you are a Massage Envy brand ambassador. You are passionate about living a healthy lifestyle through self-care and wellness, and excited about helping others by encouraging their potential. With guidance and support from the Sales Lead, Operational Manager and Regional General Manager, you crush sales goals for yourself and the team. You are responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they're maximizing their Massage Envy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling memberships, enhancements and retail products
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals
  • Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members
  • Have knowledge of and participate in all the Massage Envy services, programs, and products
  • Create a pleasant and professional atmosphere ensuring that the lobby, front desk, retail shelves, tranquility and treatment rooms are clean, organized, well-stocked and ready for clients
  • Help deliver outstanding customer service by assisting front desk staff with filing, organizing, shipping and receiving, and other tasks as needed
  • Support the delivery of our brand promise, 'We help you take care of you,' by ensuring that treatment rooms are client-ready
  • Uphold the Massage Envy core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy
  • Protect our workplace culture by recognizing and supporting team goals and building positive relationships with team members
  • Answer phone calls
  • Set and check members and guests in and out for appointments
  • Greet members and guests upon arrival
  • Promote the Wellness Program
  • Re-engage inactive members
  • Keep management apprised of member concerns and follow manager's policies, procedures and direction
  • Accept constructive criticism in a positive manner and use it as a learning tool
  • Stay updated on retail products and promotions

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience is required
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Confidence to perform on an incentive-based salary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
  • Personal passion for health and self-care routines
  • Enjoy working within a team
  • Strong time management skills and practices
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • MUST be able to work evenings, weekends
