As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience.   • Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to practice proper dog safety and dog handling
  • Ability to perform basic dog services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
  • Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services
  • Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
  • Independently solve problems using Scenthound values and culture as a guide
  • Attention to detail
  • Time-management; Scheduling appointments efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership sales by educating customers on the benefits of routine wellness care
  • Build strong relationships with dog parents and provide outstanding customer service
  • Promote and schedule first-time visits to introduce customers to our services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
  • Ensure dog safety protocols are always followed to provide a stress-free experience for pets
  • On occasion, there will be direct hands-on experience with bathing
  • Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
  • Drive key performance indicators – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members
  • Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
  • Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships
  • Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep the reception area clean and presentable
  • Working directly with dogs and performing services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
