About The Position

The Membership Representative at Galter Life Center is responsible for generating revenue through marketing, promotion, and sales of memberships, programs, and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the facility's amenities and services to effectively connect members with appropriate resources. The representative will build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective members, enhancing their sense of community within the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; some college preferred.
• Prior work experience in Customer Service/Sales; fitness sales preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedule (day, evening, and weekend).
• CPR/AED Certified.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue through marketing and sales of memberships, programs, and services.
• Provide benefits-based tours and follow up with prospective members.
• Establish rapport by evaluating needs and goals of prospects.
• Engage prospects to schedule follow-up visits and encourage referrals.
• Follow up with prospective members via email within specified timeframes.
• Introduce prospects to appropriate resources for immediate support.
• Utilize a professional, non-pressure sales approach to close tours.
• Promote the value of programs and services to prospects.
• Stay knowledgeable about current promotions, pricing, and referral structures.
• Generate new leads through active and passive referrals.
• Manage member accounts and process membership paperwork accurately.
• Handle member concerns and issues to ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of facility programs, services, and amenities.
• Attend meetings and maintain CPR and AED certification.
• Participate in professional development and sales training.
