About The Position

The Membership Aide welcomes members, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor while providing information about Club programs and assisting with membership processes. This role ensures the Club entrance remains secure, clean, attractive, and well-organized to create a positive first impression. The Membership Aide also monitors lobby activity to prevent unauthorized access to programming areas and coordinates with program staff during member pick-up. These are some of the additional things you will do as a Membership Aide: Serve as the initial point of contact for members, parents, and visitors. Provide information on Club programs to members, parents, visitors, and respond to phone inquiries. Provide effective, informative, and positive customer service. Monitor lobby activity to prevent unauthorized access to restricted or programming areas, and coordinate with program staff during member pick-up. Ensure the Club entrance is secure, clean, organized, and visually welcoming to create a positive first impression for all visitors. This is what your schedule would look like: This role is part-time and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate personal commitments or class schedules. Monday - Friday Shifts: 2 PM - 7 PM. Work location: Donald W. Reynolds Clubhouse (DWR) - 2680 East Ninth Street, Reno, NV. ALL BGCTM employees have the responsibility to help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal Club experience for all. Requirements

  • Bilingual – Fluent in conversational Spanish.
  • Minimum of 17 years or older.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population, and represent BGCTM professionally to the community.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • You will need to provide 3 references.
  • You will also be asked to complete a drug screen for any illegal substances, a background check, and a fingerprint check.
