About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and implement membership engagement, retention, and community-building initiatives, contributing to the strategic objectives of SCCM’s member experience and career development goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in membership, program coordination, or association operations.
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting international membership or global audiences a plus.
  • Proficiency in membership databases, email platforms, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Familiarity with mentorship programs or member engagement best practices a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analytics, performance metrics, and outcome-based decision-making.
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM and Marketing Suite), and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements campaigns to support member acquisition, onboarding, renewal, and reengagement.
  • Coordinates with marketing and communications team to deliver segmented and targeted outreach across channels.
  • Creates and maintains content for member-facing communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, and spotlights.
  • Tracks campaign performance and engagement trends to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates the planning and delivery of member-focused programs, including annual Congress benefits and member recognition efforts.
  • Provides program management support, including logistics, participant communication, and vendor coordination where applicable.
  • Collects feedback and engagement data to evaluate and refine program offerings.
  • Maintains accurate membership records in coordination with IT and customer service.
  • Supports the development of dashboards and reports on membership trends, program participation, and campaign results.
  • Assists in reviewing membership benefits and pricing to support value assessment and strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure that membership data informs organizational planning and outreach.
  • Works collaboratively with teams across marketing, communication, governance, education, and other departments.
  • Performs other functions as required to carry out the SCCM mission and goals.
