About The Position

As the Membership Experience Specialist, you’ll be part of GradGuard's team responsible for being the voice of GradGuard with our members to ensure an exceptional member experience for college students and their parents across the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or have the equivalent in customer service experience.
  • Effective communication with strong written and verbal skill sets.
  • Positive and energetic attitude ready to work with a team.
  • Attention to detail, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Hold an active Property & Casualty Producer License, or have the ability to get licensed within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Experience using Zendesk or other call management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create raving fans for GradGuard through the delivery of outstanding service to our customers.
  • Fulfill customer service and sales function. Either you currently are, or you are willing to become a nationally licensed agent.
  • Be the voice of our customers and an advocate for their unique needs.
  • Be an internal product expert that is capable of providing professional advice regarding the insurance needs of our customers, college students, and their families.
  • Give direct feedback to management for marketing, customer trends, and suggestions. You are the front lines of our customer experience and we will value your insights on how to deliver the best possible experience.
  • Use your creative mindset and create periodic content for our social media campaigns and/or blogs.
  • Assist with special projects to ensure deadlines are met, supporting GradGuard products.
  • Work closely with our summer intern program to provide mentorship and guidance.
