About The Position

The Membership Relations, Events & Communications Coordinator at Suburban Golf Club is responsible for enhancing the member experience through exceptional service, effective communication, and efficient management of club events and member relations. This role involves maintaining the membership database, assisting with new member onboarding, and ensuring smooth office operations in support of the Director of Finance and the Club Board.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Jonas Club management and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple events and day-to-day operations.

• Experience in country club management or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding front office member service (telephone and reception areas).
• Maintain the Club's membership database and roster.
• Ensure established procedures for processing prospective members' applications are consistently followed.
• Assist prospective members in fulfilling application requirements and conduct orientation for new members.
• Develop relationships with current members to encourage participation in events and socials.
• Communicate effectively with the Director of Finance regarding membership goals and satisfaction.
• Compose membership correspondence including announcements and newsletters.
• Assist with marketing and mailing promotions for Club events and new member incentives.
• Prepare and distribute various Club mailings inclusive of announcements and newsletters.
• Answer member and prospective member questions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain website updates and event postings.
• Perform various administrative and management duties during Club events.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly membership reports.
