About The Position

The Membership Consultant at Gold's Gym is responsible for driving sales and promoting membership options through outreach and community engagement. This role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting gym tours, and ensuring adherence to company policies while developing effective selling skills.

Requirements

• Possess excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Learn and effectively use the Gold's Gym membership sales system.
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
• Adequate hearing to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel to any club within our DMV territory.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales through both Company and employee-sponsored outreach and promotions.
• Maintain accurate records utilizing established Gold's Gym sales systems.
• Follow up on all prospects and conduct gym tours to showcase available services.
• Conduct telephone inquiries to address inquiries and promote membership options.
• Thoroughly understand, adhere to, and enforce Company policies and procedures relevant to gym operations.
• Assume responsibility for developing effective selling skills.
• Drive sales and maintain proper expectations for Service Upsell, with specific targets for Studio/On-Demand 30 Day Trial and Personal Training attachments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing for participation in community events.
