About The Position

The ideal candidate would thrive in a consultative environment and excel at building rapport over time while valuing service as much as results. This role requires a blend of emotional intelligence, strategic thinking and sales acumen to guide customers through a journey towards ownership. This being a pilot program, teamwork and adaptability will be critical behaviors for this candidate. HGV is testing a new way of selling and servicing our Members and Customers to drive lifetime value and satisfaction, so individuals qualified for this position must have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter, excel at inspired hospitality, great listening skills and emotional intelligence. The position will be based in Orlando, with onsite requirements, with possibility of work from home options in the future should the pilot prove successful.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consultative or relationship-based sales
  • Active real estate license or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Proven ability to manage long term pipelines
  • High comfort level using Salesforce
  • Strong listening, storytelling and objection handling skills
  • Ability to show empathy and emotional intelligence

  • HGV and HVC product knowledge and experience
  • Experience in vacation ownership, hospitality, or similar industry roles

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Ownership & Stewardship Serve as the single primary point of contact for assigned Members and Consumers throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Maintain accountability for the overall health, momentum, and direction of each relationship
  • Connect with assigned lead sources using Salesforce based task cadences
  • Establish initial contact via phone or email using service first scripts
  • Qualify candidates using travel-based preferences, financial profile, and ownership fit
  • Track consent, call outcomes and engagement history accurately within Salesforce
  • Relationship Development Build meaningful long-term relationships through consistent follow-up and customized value delivery
  • Understand each prospects motivations, objections and lifestyle needs
  • Educate customers on the benefits, mechanics and long-term value of ownership
  • Provide proactive, non-transactional engagement prior to any sales presentation, including: Education and insight on membership benefits Guidance on travel planning and usage strategies Thoughtful check-ins tied to life events, travel milestones, or service moments
  • Leverage Service Rep to ensure members experience real value prior to sales proposition
  • Sales Presentation & Closing Conduct consultative sales presentations virtually
  • Present ownership options clearly, ethically and with a focus on long term satisfaction
  • Guide customers through a decision-making process aligned with their priorities and timing
  • Close with integrity, reinforcing through post sale interactions and relationship management
  • Pipeline Management Maintain pipeline of 200-250 active leads at various stages of the sales process
  • Complete all scheduled touchpoints using call and email aligned to nurture timelines
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow through on commitments
  • Re-engage older or lapsed leads as needed
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement Work cross functionally with marketing, service, operations and training teams
  • Provide pilot feedback on lead quality and marketing behavior
  • Participate in roundtables and feedback surveys to ensure growth and success in pilot results
  • Effectively manages ~250 Members and leads at any given time, and a max of ~720 annually.
