Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, Massachusetts seeks a Membership and Individual Support Coordinator to support the Philanthropy department’s ambitious membership and individual giving efforts. The Coordinator will play a key role in membership acquisition, retention, and engagement by handling customer service, processing memberships from end to end (customer-facing to gift entry and acknowledgement), assisting with Member events and programs, and executing communications (renewals, mailings, and stewardship). The Coordinator will also work with colleagues to execute appeals and individual giving campaigns which drive participation, entry-level giving, and recurring gifts. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in high-touch customer service, and have some experience in gift entry, acknowledgements, and events. The Coordinator must have a strong interest in or appreciation for dance, be a team player and self-motivated, committed to working at the highest level of quality, able to work both independently, as well as work across multiple, concurrent projects, and thrive within tight deadlines. There are approximately 2,300 engaged Members at Jacob’s Pillow from the US and around the world who are dedicated to the mission, values and vision of Jacob’s Pillow. Following the success of the Dance Unleashed campaign for the new Doris Duke Theatre and a refresh of individual giving and membership strategies, this role was created to help focus on taking relationships and support to new heights.
