About The Position

At University Credit Union, we believe in empowering our members through personalized financial guidance and exceptional service. As a Member Wellness Coach, you’ll be the first point of contact for members—helping them navigate their financial needs, build lasting relationships, and discover solutions that support their goals.

Requirements

• Knowledge of savings and consumer loan products; basic understanding of real estate loans.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compliance and member satisfaction.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Notary Public certification.
• Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) or equivalent (as approved by VP of Member Services).

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and recommend tailored products and services.
• Accurately and efficiently process transactions with care and urgency.
• Support new memberships, account servicing, loan applications, and funding.
• Maintain and update member accounts (e.g., address changes, check orders, card requests).
• Investigate and resolve account issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Share ideas to improve processes and enhance the member experience.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture.
