About The Position

The Member Team Lead assists management with the supervision of associates, including assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training, and providing guidance on member service. This role ensures compliance with company policies, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in various HR functions like recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Key responsibilities also include communicating and supporting membership by providing information on types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships, encouraging renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events to meet membership goals. The Team Lead provides excellent member service by assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding on self-service technology, and handling transactions at registers or self-checkout. They oversee assigned areas, managing claims and returns, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining cart availability and parking lot cleanliness. The position involves completing accounting records, managing financial transactions, preparing deposits, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining confidentiality. Furthermore, the role requires developing and implementing business processes, collaborating with various partners, monitoring results, and identifying improvement opportunities. The Team Lead is expected to demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity, and to lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, coordinating work, and providing support. Requirements

  • 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (for example, cash register)
  • 6 months customer service experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Creates and interprets financial analysis reports
  • Assists with accounting-related investigations
  • Prepares daily deposits
  • Prepares and oversees Cash Fund Transfers
  • Investigates overages and shortages in cash register drawers and accounting office
  • Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information
