The Member Team Lead assists management in supervising associates within their assigned area. This involves assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes, and guiding associates on member service to resolve complaints. The role ensures compliance with company policies, supports the Open Door Policy, and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Key responsibilities include communicating and supporting membership by providing information on types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships and credit accounts, encouraging renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events to meet goals. The Team Lead also ensures excellent member service by assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding on self-service technology, assisting with transactions, and ensuring club pick-up orders are filled. They oversee their assigned area by managing claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining cart availability, and keeping the parking lot clean. The position involves completing accounting records, managing transactions, preparing deposits, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining confidentiality. It also requires developing and implementing processes, collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
