About The Position

Goodlife Health Clubs is seeking a Member Support Consultant (MSC) to join their team in Cleveland. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fitness and driven by sales targets. MSCs are the initial point of contact for prospective members, guiding them towards a healthier lifestyle by driving new memberships and fostering a positive, supportive environment within the club. This is a fast-paced, people-first position where the consultant's energy and drive directly contribute to helping individuals embark on and commit to their fitness journeys. Requirements

  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals
  • The ability to solve problems, and overcome obstacles
  • Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others
  • Tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals
  • Customer focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns
  • Generating and converting high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and the identification of new business opportunities
  • Achieving the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
  • Providing sales presentations and tours to prospective members
  • Creating great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions
  • Achieving successful outcomes to enquiries
  • Opening and closing the club as per the club roster
  • Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
  • Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey - recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience
