Summary of Primary Functions Responsible for staying current with all applicable credit union policies and procedures. Under direct supervision, provide centralized Deceased Account Processing, Individual Retirement Account (IRA) support, Trust Accounts processing, and Power of Attorney (POA) Support to the operations teams including the Call Center and Branches. Serve as a resource to internal team members by providing relevant information about Deceased Account functions, IRA operational policies/procedures, and transactions within operations. Answer basic and advance member and staff questions and inquires.

  • Provide centralized Deceased Account processing, and IRA support to multiple operations departments including the Call Center and Branches.
  • Ensure daily assigned processes are accurately completed in a timely manner, including but not limited to Deceased accounts, IRA transactions, Trust Accounts and POAs and respond to member email and correspondence as required.
  • Responsible for supporting Member Support Center phone queue and assisting members with completing transactions as requested by members.
  • Assist in maintaining daily, weekly and monthly quality controls of Deceased accounts and IRAs.
  • Communicate with staff and members as required to verify member requests and/or confirm a transaction(s) prior to processing.
  • Conducts member research, and assists in resolving IRA related service issues for front line staff.
  • Maintain minimal knowledge regarding IRA rules and regulations, including contribution rules, federal tax withholding and reporting.
  • Advise supervisor regarding status of work-in-process, pending, escalated problem situations and or completed work on a consistent basis.
  • Responsible for complying with all policies, procedures, processes and regulations, including but not limited to the, completion of all required and assigned training modules.
  • Responsible for providing excellent member service.
  • Provide support in various areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Financial Institution experience.
  • Possess knowledge of credit union operations and regulations as well as a thorough understanding of Exceptional Member Service.
  • Knowledge of new accounts, and support departments.
  • Knowledge of Deceased Accounts, IRA products and Services.
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
