The Member Specialist provides comprehensive member service, maintaining the checkout and entrance/exit areas, and resolving member issues and concerns. This role involves promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members with self-service technology, and processing purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges. The specialist is also responsible for maintaining a safe shopping environment by following company safety standards, handling merchandise properly, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations. Additionally, the role includes assisting with securing company assets, maintaining documentation, executing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices. The Member Specialist also assists in training new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts, while continuously seeking process improvement opportunities. The position requires adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and contributing to a culture of respect, integrity, and customer service.
