About The Position

This position provides comprehensive member service, maintaining the checkout and entrance/exit areas, and resolving member issues and concerns. Key responsibilities include promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, and processing purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. The role also involves ensuring a safe shopping environment by following safety standards, conducting sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations. The Member Specialist assists with securing company assets, maintaining documentation, and executing emergency response procedures. Furthermore, the position contributes to training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts, fostering continuous learning and process improvement. The role requires maintaining the area of responsibility, handling returns, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Associates are expected to comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in business practices. The role involves completing work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners, identifying priorities, and adapting to change and feedback.
