About The Position

The Member Services Specialist role at Daxko involves delivering exceptional member management, electronic billing, and recovery services for health and wellness facilities. This position acts as an extension of the Accounts Receivable and Member Management teams, focusing on enhancing member satisfaction and ensuring a seamless experience through effective communication and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Six months of Customer Service or equivalent experience.
  • Strong computer and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
  • Exceptional customer service skills including patience and empathy.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • One (1) or more years' Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak a second language in addition to English.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle escalated customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage billing data and process holds, freezes, and terminations.
  • Resolve billing issues promptly and accurately.
  • Interact with members via email and phone calls, managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communications.
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied members and provide patient assistance.
  • Review member accounts and investigate billing issues.
  • Maintain accuracy of member financial records.
  • Leverage Daxko software for billing and reconciliation of member matters.
  • Generate monthly reports as needed.
  • Follow organizational compliance policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators.
  • Participate in and/or lead team trainings to enhance product and service expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
