About The Position

The position involves working in a club environment where the primary focus is on providing excellent customer service to members and guests. The role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle various tasks related to membership sales and member services. The employee will be responsible for greeting members, checking them in, and facilitating their requests while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the employee will be involved in selling retail products and scheduling member services such as tanning. The role also includes administrative duties such as answering phones and communicating special events to members.

Responsibilities

  • Membership Sales
  • Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club
  • Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures
  • Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in
  • Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner
  • Communicate special events to members and guests
  • Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome
  • Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
  • Maintain professional disposition at all times
  • Sell retail products
  • Schedule member services: tanning, etc
  • Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
  • Know club facility, services, and schedules
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
  • Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
  • Opening and closing duties
