About The Position

The Member Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring member satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service to members and the general public. This position involves handling inquiries via phone and in-person visits, managing billing questions, and maintaining accurate records of member accounts. The representative is also responsible for balancing transactions and supporting various office functions to enhance the overall member experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably with Microsoft products.
  • Experience working with money, with a focus on accuracy.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member services representative, answering member questions and ensuring excellent member satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary contact for members and the public, responding to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Handle billing questions and document inquiries on members' accounts.
  • Open and close the front office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
  • Balance cash register drawer at the close of business and prepare bank deposits.
  • Balance daily transactions, including credit cards, cash, and electronic payments.
  • Process cash register payments for various services and maintain appropriate paperwork.
  • Manage automated inquiries and update members' personal information.
  • Maintain medical priority and third-party agreements between tenants and homeowners.
  • Prepare special mailings, such as mail merged labels, envelopes, and letters.
  • Initiate service orders for new and existing members and maintain open/pending service orders daily.
  • Become familiar with Crystal Reporting and Mosaic for business intelligence and reporting.
  • Engage in new technologies as needed.
  • Serve as a backup for other duties as required.
