About The Position

The Member Services Representative at the American Airlines Credit Union is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and employees through various communication channels. This role involves handling inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting Credit Union services while ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a service-culture environment, customer service, or call center
• Experience in a financial institution is preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Ability to exercise excellent member service skills
• Ability to interact professionally with employees and members
• Ability to work Saturdays on a rotating basis
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
• Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous banking or Credit Union experience
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Answer department ACD calls from members
• Open new accounts and process Credit Union services for members
• Process various monetary transactions and loan payments
• Maintain account information and provide product information
• Work with branch/department managers to leverage cross-selling opportunities
• Input member information for consumer loan applicants
• Create and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union
• Research member inquiries and provide timely solutions
• Implement and enforce internal control and security measures
• Foster a culture of teamwork and service excellence
