About The Position

The Member Service Representatives will be the face of OUCU Financial in our newest branch! Our Lancaster branch will be open on North Memorial Drive in early 2025. The Member Service Representatives will help introduce OUCU Financial to the local community by providing excellent member service and explaining the benefits of being a member of the credit union. Member Service Representatives at OUCU Financial are the focal point of the Credit Union's member relationships. You will meet with members and potential members to discuss our different account options, loans, savings products, and account maintenance. The pay for this position starts at $17.65 per hour, with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate. This position also earns incentive monthly, and we do not put any cap on the amount of incentive that can be earned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in sales and customer service.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communications, grammar, and interpersonal skills as well as above average listening skills to determine member needs and take appropriate action.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor and able to work and communicate well with employees and members, without close supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team environment.
  • Resume and cover letter required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists members with opening new accounts and provides guidance on account features and benefits.
  • Identifies all products and services needed by the member, including consumer loans, mortgage and home equity products, deposit and saving products, and financial planning services.
  • Recommends and cross-sells other products and services to meet members' financial needs.
  • Assists members with account maintenance such as access to services, account discrepancies, and adding or reducing service features.
  • Responds to member inquiries and resolves any issues or concerns.
