About The Position

River Valley AgCredit, a member-owned financial cooperative, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Member Service Representative to join their friendly and fast-paced team in Paducah, KY . This is more than just a support role, it’s a chance to be part of a trusted organization that’s been serving the agricultural community for over a century. As the Member Service Representative, you’ll play a key role in keeping the branch running smoothly. You’ll handle clerical tasks, loan administration support, member relations, and more, all with precision and a customer-first mindset. You'll also be responsible for retiring Association stock.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in an office or clerical setting
  • Comfortable using standard office technology and computer systems
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively with both staff and the public
  • Must have the ability to read documents from many sources.
  • Must be able to communicate audibly in and with staff, customers, and the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver top-notch customer service by greeting members warmly and responding to inquiries with accuracy, efficiency, and a smile
  • Perform daily branch operations to keep everything running smoothly, including handling mail, managing files, and maintaining office supplies
  • Support loan officers with timely and accurate loan servicing tasks, including processing payments, preparing loan documents, and maintaining records
  • Coordinate branch activities such as meetings, training sessions, and community outreach efforts
  • Assist with accounting and reporting by generating routine financial and operational reports, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Manage records confidentially and with a high level of attention to detail
  • Help new members navigate paperwork and onboarding, serving as a trusted point of contact
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, including IT security, privacy requirements, and standards of conduct
  • Lend a hand where it’s needed - this team thrives on collaboration, and you’ll be part of the support system that makes it all happen
  • Represent the organization professionally, projecting a positive image to members, partners, and the community
