Requirements

  • Prior financial institution experience.
  • Proven success in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist members and potential members with loan requests and new accounts.
  • Process account transactions and resolve problems.
  • Provide expertise concerning more complex credit union services such as IRAs, specialized and business accounts, Certificate of Deposits, and other member needs.
  • Open all types of Credit Union accounts.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support needed to process and close member loans.
  • Provide excellent Member Service in accordance with expectations set forth by Management.
  • Strive to meet or exceed assigned goals.
  • Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services, and resolve problems.
  • Assist other MSRs with technical problems and questions relating to complicated products and regulations.
  • Receive and prepare quality, complete, member loan applications.
  • Manage follow-ups and focus on processing approved loans to a high closing ratio in accordance with production goals.
  • Cross-sell other loan opportunities, loan protection, and other services such as checking, money market accounts, CDs, etc.
  • Attain or exceed loan production goals monthly.
  • Self-educate on products and services offered by the Credit Union and utilize that knowledge to make appropriate product recommendations to members.
  • Receive and process customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Ensure appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
  • Back up MSR I's on the Teller line as required.
  • Balance cash drawer and checks received.
  • Perform various miscellaneous duties including outbound calling, answering the telephone, scanning, and updating member records.
