About The Position
Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) is seeking a service-driven Member Service Representative at our office in Altavista, Virginia. Our dedicated Member Service Representatives are responsible for responding to requests for electric service, information, and resolving complaints of Cooperative members in a prompt and courteous manner. We aren't your typical customer service environment. Our members aren't just our customers, they are also owners along with us. We have high expectations that they will receive a quality of service that is unmatched by any industry. Maybe that's why the majority of our Member Service Representatives stay with us through retirement age.
