About The Position

As a Full-Time Teller (Member Service Rep) , you'll be the face of Jolt for our members – greeting them with a smile, helping them navigate financial transactions, and recommending products that improve their financial well-being. Your schedule will be Monday - Friday, including some Saturdays from 8:30am-12:30pm. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people and delivering top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service is a must (cash handling, teller, or sales experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and a knack for accuracy
  • Confidence, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet during shifts
  • A passion for helping others and being part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Deliver service to both members and coworkers that is in alignment with our Service Promise: "Giving it All We've Got, Every Day and Everywhere"
  • Credit union product promotion and recommendations
  • Verifying cash in drawer at beginning and end of day
  • Processing deposits, loan payments, VISA payments, and other types of payments
  • Disbursing account withdrawals and cashing checks
  • Process other teller transactions relative to accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.
  • Issuing Cashier's checks
  • Cashing U.S. Savings Bonds
  • Responding to member inquiries (interest rates, account balances, etc.)
  • Assisting with balancing branch, vault, ATM, etc.
  • Assist members with online & mobile banking.
  • Protecting the credit union from fraud.
