About The Position

In the Member Service I role, the team member will provide exceptional service to credit union members, support teams, and third parties by addressing investment questions and strengthening financial relationships with Mountain America Credit Union members. Your tasks will include processing Move Money requests, checks, account management, trade management, and appointment scheduling. You will ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and Broker Dealer regulations, promptly resolve notifications, and manage advisor calendars. Additionally, you will document interactions in the CRM, support investment inquiries, collaborate on deposit operations for retirement accounts, and assist with paperwork processing. Staying updated on investment products, educating callers on processes, and fostering positive relationships with branch and service center personnel are essential, along with performing any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of related financial experience or enrollment in an accredited business or related college program.
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service.
  • An Associate's degree in business, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution, or enrollment in an accredited business program with an expected graduation within 18 months from the start date of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to credit union members, support teams, and third parties to address investment questions and strengthen financial relationships.
  • Execute various tasks for advisors and members in a timely manner, including Move Money requests, check processing, account opening and closing, trade management, and scheduling appointments.
  • Collaborate with our Broker Dealer to ensure smooth investment operations and compliance with FINRA, SEC, and Broker Dealer regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve notifications promptly, adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Assist with advisor calendar management and appointment scheduling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Document all interactions and resolution efforts in the CRM program.
  • Provide comprehensive support for investment inquiries, demonstrating general understanding in Investment products, processes, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with deposit operations on matters concerning IRAs, Trusts, POAs, RMDs, and other retirement documents and accounts.
  • Aid advisors in processing paperwork to ensure a seamless member experience.
  • Stay updated on Investment products, processes, and promotions through ongoing training and department updates.
  • Educate callers on Mountain America processes and regulations relevant to their requests.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, fostering positive relationships with personnel from branches, Service Center, and other support teams.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
