About The Position

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Member Service Associate. Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our ten branches. Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. Requirements

• Prior customer service experience.
• Experience handling money.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 month of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with all of their financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle basic cash transactions including withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and loan payments.
• Recommend and sell products and services to members.
• Direct members to various departments for specific information and/or services.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone.
