About The Position

As a Member Service Advisor at iTHINK Financial Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in welcoming members and providing exceptional service tailored to their financial needs. Your primary responsibility will be to identify member needs and offer appropriate financial solutions. This includes processing consumer loan applications, making informed loan decisions, and handling transactions and account changes in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures. You will be the first point of contact for members, ensuring they feel valued and understood while guiding them through our range of products and services. In this position, you will be tasked with processing accurate and timely account transactions and maintenance. You will educate members about the features and benefits of our current offerings, helping them find solutions that best fit their financial situations. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately opening member and business accounts, originating consumer loan applications, and collecting the necessary documentation for the loan department's processing. As needed, you will also provide backup support to the teller function, ensuring seamless service delivery. Problem-solving will be a key aspect of your role, as you will need to address member inquiries and issues based on your skill level. Multitasking will be essential to complete daily work efficiently while managing other assigned duties.
