About The Position

Contributes to the generation of new accounts and provides ongoing relationship servicing with current members. Cross sells credit union products and services to assist members in meeting their financial needs. Maintains a basic understanding of all credit union products and services with the ability to identify and offer additional referral opportunities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to generation of new business to assist in reaching established production and profitability goals. Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current members to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
  • Processes member transactions accurately and efficiently. Responds to member inquiries and requests.
  • Actively participates in the in-branch greeter program to ensure positive member experiences and support adoption of member facing technologies such as Interactive Teller Machines, scheduling and lobby tracking systems, and digital services.
  • Cross-sells credit union products and services to members to assist in meeting their financial needs. Evaluates needs of potential members and offers appropriate financial products and services.
  • Examines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and assures resolution to discrepancies promptly.
  • Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions. Performs accurate and timely file maintenance on member accounts.
  • Opens and closes basic savings and checking accounts for existing members.
  • Maintains established member authentication, quality control, and audit standards.
  • Under the direction of management, supports the daily branch settlement of cash boxes, vaults, cash recyclers, ATMs, ITMs, and all negotiable instruments within the branch.
  • Participates in and supports branch and community events.
  • Travels to other branch locations on occasion.
  • Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Credit Union and its members.
