About The Position

At Innate, we are building general-purpose robots AI that truly feel alive and useful. We believe the best path towards that future is for everyone to participate in training and programming them. Requirements

• Research experience in AI, robotics, or related fields.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work and projects in AI systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Strong attention to detail in building complex systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reinforcement learning (RL) and behavior cloning (BC) models.
• Familiarity with communication protocols for data transmission.
• Background in developing mobile applications or SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Foundation agent research: Designing a brain agent that can drive a robot with manipulation and navigation abilities.
• Simulated environment: RL environments to evaluate and further train our methods in the cloud.
• Developing and improving fast training pipeline, BC and/or RL-based models, self-improving methods.
• Fast transmission of datasets, video stream, actuator data.
• Novel control systems: How to make robots be controlled and trained faster and easier.
• Product development: Mobile apps, Robot OS, developing SDKs.
