Our founding team pioneered Latent Diffusion and Stable Diffusion - breakthroughs that made generative AI accessible to millions. Today, our FLUX models power creative tools, design workflows, and products across industries worldwide. If you're relentlessly curious and driven by high agency, we want to talk. With a team of ~50, we move fast and punch above our weight. From our labs in Freiburg - a university town in the Black Forest - and San Francisco, we're building what comes next.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript—not just syntax, but the judgment to make smart tradeoffs between performance, maintainability, and shipping speed
- Proven track record shipping production web applications at scale, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
- Strong product sense and ability to envision the right interface for complex technical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical features into customer benefits and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading projects from concept to launch with minimal direction in fast-paced startup environments
- Energized by ambiguity, rapid iteration, and the unique challenges of building at the frontier

- Worked with A/B testing and growth infrastructure (you know how to learn from user behavior)

Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality web applications using Next.js and modern React patterns that make complex AI model interactions feel intuitive
- Develop and maintain robust frontends for our model APIs—playgrounds where developers experiment, dashboards where businesses scale, and interfaces that handle high-volume media processing
- Transform research breakthroughs into production-ready demos and MVPs, translating technical capabilities into compelling user experiences
- Drive performance improvements for real-time inference and large-scale media generation workflows
- Work closely with research, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure every technical capability lands as genuine customer value
- Lead projects from concept to launch with minimal supervision, making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, and user needs
