You have battle scars from over-engineered and underperforming slop, and you care about writing code that lasts. Your strength is frontend — you've built complex, performant UIs (not just React components — state management, performance, accessibility) — but you can comfortably work across the stack. You understand and engage with backend complexity, and you're excited about working in a backend-heavy environment rather than resistant to it. You may be coming from a product-focused engineering role at a startup or scale-up where you owned UI/UX end-to-end. Responsibilities

Building and owning the frontend experiences that clinicians and customers interact with daily — React and HTMX
Working across the stack — from frontend through to backend services — to ship complete solutions
Working directly with customers to understand real-world healthcare workflows, scope integrations, and translate requirements into product specs
Designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI platform
Writing evals to identify weaknesses and drive improvements in our LLM-powered systems
Building internal tooling to automate workflows and increase team leverage
Analyzing request logs, debugging event streams, and improving system reliability
Contributing to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and platform architecture
