So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us. THE ROLE As a key member of the Engineering Core Services team, you will champion the reliability of Pure Storage’s mission-critical artifact management platforms. You’ll serve as the primary expert for our global Artifactory clusters, ensuring the seamless flow of CI/CD pipelines that power our product innovation. This role bridges the gap between Infrastructure and Development, giving you the autonomy to lead high-impact initiatives and drive operational excellence across our hybrid cloud environment.

Requirements

  • Artifact Management Expertise: Deep experience managing enterprise Artifactory clusters in high-traffic production environments, including lifecycle management and performance tuning.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Mastery of configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash to automate complex workflows.
  • Cloud & Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience scaling services within cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and managing containerized workloads via Kubernetes.
  • Strong hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queue / event streaming systems such as Apache Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, Google Pub/Sub, Azure Service Bus, or Apache Pulsar

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Optimize Artifactory Ecosystems: Design and operate large-scale, distributed Artifactory clusters to ensure 24/7 availability and peak performance for global engineering teams.
  • Scale Hybrid Infrastructure: Deploy and manage core services across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments (VMware/Kubernetes) using automation frameworks like Puppet and Ansible.
  • Drive Reliability Engineering: Implement SRE and DevOps best practices to automate manual toil, improve observability via Datadog and Prometheus, and harden system security.
  • Ensure CI/CD Continuity: Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex escalations, maintaining technical runbooks that empower the team to resolve issues with speed and precision.

Benefits

  • We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
  • We have been Named Fortune's Best Large Workplaces in the Bay Area™, Fortune's Best Workplaces for Millennials™ and certified as a Great Place to Work®!
